The words “apostle” and “missionary” mean the same thing: “One who
is sent.” The word apostle is from the Greek; and the word missionary is
from the Latin.

The Gospel Message - what is it?
Good News, the announcing of it whatever the subject is, politics, financial,
good weather, all crops are bountiful and its a good season for it, even the
proclamation of rain, after a drought. However.....

In regards to an announcement or proclamation from the Heavenly Father, it is
in regards to Salvation.

Salvation from What?

Salvation is deliverance from danger or suffering. To save is to deliver or
protect. The word carries the idea of victory, health, or preservation.
Sometimes, the Word of God uses the words saved or salvation to refer to
temporal, physical deliverance, in regards to ones spiritual life it has to
do with freedom from sin and the power thereof, life eternal and the total
absence of anything evil. Nothing negative and a constant overabundance of
all ones heart can desire provided by our Heavenly Father in the Spiritual
world

In this life it has to do with ones food, clothing, lodgings for the day,
with freedom of concern for these things, freedom from concern regarding ones
state after the death of our bodies. And salvation also contains blessings
for all we say and do when we walk hand in hand with the Holy Spirit of God.
Whatever we set our hands to do will prosper. You can also read all about
these blessings in The Old Covenant, wherein the Blessings of that covenant
carry over to this day, for those in Christ Jesus.

Upon what is this Good News from the Heavenly Father based?

1Co 15:1(1-11) Now, I am making known to you, brethren, the good news which I
brought as glad tidings to you, which also you took to yourselves, in which
also you have taken a stand, through which you are being saved, in what word
I announced it to you as glad tidings, assuming that you are holding it fast
unless you believed in vain; for I delivered to you among the first things
that which also I received, that Christ died on behalf of our sins according
to the scriptures, and that He was entombed, and that He has been raised on
the third day according to the scriptures, and that He appeared to Cephas,
then to the Twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren
at one time, of whom the majority are remaining to the present time, but
certain ones fell asleep. After that He appeared to James, then to all the
apostles, and in the last of all His appearances, He appeared also to me, an
unperfected, stillborn embryo. For, as for myself, I am the least of the
apostles. I am not fit to be called an apostle because I persecuted the
Church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am. And His grace to me
did not turn out in vain, but I labored to the point of exhaustion more
abundantly than all of them; however, not I myself, but the grace of. God
which labored with me. Therefore, whether it were I or they, thus are we
preaching and thus did you believe.

How do people differentiate between this Gospel being evangelized, and the
News of Religions, other Gods, and their promises?

And, afterward He appeared to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at
table, and He reproached their disbelief and hardness of heart because they
did not believe those who viewed Him attentively after He was raised. And He
said to them, Having proceeded into all the world, make a public proclamation
of the good news to the whole creation. The one who believes and is baptized,
will be saved, but the one who disbelieves will be condemned. And these
attesting miracles will accompany those who believe these things. In my Name
they will cast out demons. In new languages they will speak. Snakes they will
pick up. And if they drink anything deadly, it will positively not harm them.
Upon the sick they will lay hands, and they will recover. Mark 16:15-18

“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children,
how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them
that ask him?” (Mat 7:11)

“Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are
differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities
of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the
manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to
one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of
knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another
the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles;
to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers
kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these
worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as
he will.” (1Co 12:4-11)

The admonition to the ekklesia’s. To Desire and seek after these things
above.

1Co 14:1(1-5) Be constantly pursuing this love, earnestly endeavoring to
acquire it. Moreover, be earnestly desiring the spiritual gifts, and do this
in order that you might more efficiently impart to others the divine
revelations you have received. For the one who is uttering words in a tongue
is not speaking to men but to God, for no one hears him so as to understand
what he is saying. And he utters with his human spirit divine revelations not
explained. But he who imparts divine revelations to men is speaking with the
result of upbuilding the Christian life, and exhortation, and consolation.
The one who utters words in a tongue builds himself up in his Christian life.
But he who imparts divine revelations to others builds up the local assembly.
Now I desire that all of you be speaking in tongues, but I prefer that you
impart divine revelations to others which you have received. Moreover,
greater is the one who imparts divine revelations to others than he who
speaks in tongues, with this exception that he interpret, in order that the
local assembly might receive upbuilding.

After Paul departed from this ekklesia he proceeded on to Ephesus where he
operated in Special/outstanding anointing and gifts of the Spirit. These
things are part of the Prophecy of Jesus regarding his believers will do
greater and mightier things by the Spirit of God when he was gone thus
confirming the words that the Apostles, or Missionaries sent by GoD to
preach, live and teach others around the world of the Message of the Good
News of God and to differentiate it from all other gods and religions. Yet
these same gifts and callings are for the local ekklesia unto the end of this
age.

Those who deny these scriptures, deny the Word of God thus destroying or
attempting to destroy the blessings of God to all who are in need of all
these things.

And as Paul, an apostle of God who was not ashamed of the the Gospel of God,
I too am not in the slightest. I am also in concord with many other Believers
in the Full Gospel of Jesus The Messiah.

One cannot be a partial loser of there life, and partial believer. It is all
in or all out,

Typically because the are not thinking of the commandment to “Walk in the
Spirit”. As it is not taught very widely, nor do many understand what it
means. Especially when one is admonished to “pray in the spirit”.

state after the death of our bodies.
For to
one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of
knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another
the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles;
to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers
kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these
worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as
he will.” (1Co 12:4-11)
It is all
in or all out,
You mean like, "all or nothing?" :-).
In the sense of ALL, yes. Including foul words, no more feigned Love, etc.
Following His Words, Scripture, etc.
All your heart or don't bother is what I mean. Then you are free and
free indeed of the morality of man and the meaning of his words.

When a son of God says, "Fuck," he doesn't say that in the Spirit the
same way as a carnal man says that in his carnality.

Typically because the are not thinking of the commandment to “Walk in the

The words “apostle” and “missionary” mean the same thing: “One who
is sent.” The word apostle is from the Greek; and the word missionary is
from the Latin.
The Gospel Message - what is it?
Good News, the announcing of it whatever the subject is, politics, financial,
good weather, all crops are bountiful and its a good season for it, even the
proclamation of rain, after a drought. However.....
In regards to an announcement or proclamation from the Heavenly Father, it is
in regards to Salvation.
Salvation from What?
Salvation is deliverance from danger or suffering.
Let's bring it up a notch in the Spirit: salvation is the deliverance
from self.
Self what? One is to exercise self control.
Self-will.
You are talking about salvation, aren't you?
Yes, but I asked you because there are many applications to. ’Self’. I
gave you one example, or sample. Even self-will can be a positive or
negative.

Cursing is wishing ill-will on someone, not saying a certain word on
your personal list. You can greet someone with a loud voice early in the
morning, and it will be counted as a curse (Proverbs 27:14, ESV). Any
time you wish ill-will on someone, you're cursing. Jesus cursed a fig
tree (Mark 11:12-14, ESV).

What McGaslighter is doing is probably cursing, because when he uses the
F-bomb, he's doing it with ill-intent towards the one he's talking to.
It's not the F-word itself, it's the intent behind it. However, whether
he intends ill-will by the F-bomb or not, it is still sinful speech
which the Bible calls "obscene" talk or "filthy communication":

“But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and
obscene talk from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you
have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new
self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its
creator.” (Colossians 3:8–10, ESV)

This exposes McGaslighter for the fraud he is in claiming he hasn't
sinned in over 37 years, and denying he has a sin nature. It says right
there that this kind of communication is consistent with the "old self"
which McGaslighter claims he doesn't even have.

Yes, every time you drop the F-bomb, McGaslighter, you show that you're
yielding to your old nature. We know it. Everyone else knows it. The
only one who is deceived by your dumb lies is yourself. That's why John
says you are "self-deceived":

“If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in
us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our
sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not
sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” (1 John 1:8–10, ESV)
--
Have you heard the good news Christ died for our sins (†), and God
raised Him from the dead?

That Christ died for our sins shows we're sinners who deserve the death
penalty. That God raised Him from the dead shows Christ's death
satisfied God's righteous demands against our sin (Romans 3:25; 1 John
2:1-2). This means God can now remain just, while forgiving you of your
sins, and saving you from eternal damnation.

On the basis of Christ's death and resurrection for our sins, call on
the name of the Lord to save you: "For 'everyone who calls on the name
of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13, ESV)

is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

Psalms 53:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt
are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

Proverbs 12:15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that
hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

"To seek your own will is to seek your own glory."

"If God is not first in everything, He is not first in anything."

"What makes the bible the truth? The resonance (voice, the Person) of
God. When you find Him you have found the author."

"All men were born sinners. Why? Because all men were born not loving
God with all their heart, soul, and mind. An abomination. Therefore,
sin is not what you do; it is what you are."

"Compromise will condemn you."

"There are no sinners in Christ Jesus."

"My sons are born of Me. In them is no darkness at all."

"You can't learn righteousness. Haven't you had enough time already to
know that?"

"The way of truth is the testimony of life."

"I merely speak the truth, what is revealed to me, and the cards fall
where God intends."

"Nothing that is produced is produced without first being faith."

"You can only find proof of God through faith because that is how we all
live, by faith."

"It is not what you do that matters, it is how you treat Me."

"Keep going forward. Forget about the past. Lift up your head, look
ahead."

"You cannot be free, and free indeed with guilt in your heart."

"Priority is everything."

"The truth doesn't need evidence, it is evidence."

"There is no greater possession a man has than his own will, to squander
it or to place it where it truly belongs."

"An atheist is a fool who thinks truth is found in living a lie."

"Saying "prove it" [as a foundation] is merely an ignorant straw man, to
an ignorant straw man."

"Wait, rest, be still, and know."

"No man can wash his own hands!!!"

"I find this in the Christianity religions: 'Nobody's perfect' they say,
and they use that as an excuse not to do what is perfect."

"The Atheist: "They don't believe and put their faith in a Creator (the
obvious). So no evidence or proof is to be found."

"The world is the way it is because God can't compromise who He is."

"Man is not the centre of being."

"Man is incompatible with the natural world because of his sinful nature."

"And then the Lord said, "I see everything."

"Man has no greater idol than his own will."

"Where is God hiding? He isn't."

"If you don't keep all the scriptures, you can't keep any of them."

"You can't prove anything because everything depends on a person's
willingness to believe."

"Atheists are ultimately trying to be pointlessness, meaninglessness,
and purposelessness in their point, meaning, and purpose."

"The last day of creation will be the last day of time. God is always
full of hope."

"The veil of the temple was rent in twain, not so that a book could pass
through it for a sinner to play God."

"A phylactery does not a heart for God make. Not back then, and not today."

"No one in heaven is better (or higher) than what makes it heaven. Such
is the love of God."

"The definition of an atheist: a man full of bluster and bullshit in his
meaninglessness pretending he is the meaning of life."

"Free will is not power; it is the choice that I allow; that choice is
still according to my power," says the Lord.

"What does a fool do? A fool looks for a "nothing" in a "something" in
order to explain the existence of existence."

"Unless you do all because He is who He is, all your religion is in vain."

"Every man is subject to God; He judges every man, and He is reality.
What a gift in a fallen world!"

"Love MUST be a choice or it is nothing but a law!"

"Why were all men born sinners? So that God could reveal Himself, so
that we would behold the glory of God, and that we should bring forth
the glory of God"

"God does not and will not arbitrate for any man to love Him! If God
isn't everything to you, He is nothing to you where the rubber meets the
road."

"It is the unforgivable sin not to love God with all your heart, soul,
and mind. What do you have that is lasting? It is not so much being
punished; it is what you are left with."

"Love isn't worth anything without first a free will choice for God to
birth it in a man."

"The point of salvation: desperation. Anything less than that is
self-righteousness."

"A sinner is not a believer in God; a sinner is a believer in sin."

"A piece of dirt is not the promised land; that is only a reflection.
The promised land is knowing Me, says the Lord."

"It is all about God or it is all about idolatry."

"The Lord Jesus is coming soon. He has always come soon."

"There is no such thing as random!"

"You can't truly love without it being with all your heart."

"No one can see God without their whole heart. Unless you can see God,
you know nothing."

"You can't learn God; God has to reveal Himself to you."

"No sinner is sinless in any way."

"Only God is life; only the Kingdom of God of His "Nature" is life."

"What you believe is just a leaning on your own understanding; faith is
a leaning on the one you have chosen to trust."

"God uses the "letter" to crucify a man and raise him from the dead."

"Not fearing God is sheer stupidity for sinners."

"Self-righteousness is any exclusion of God in your heart, because any
exclusion reveals that you think more about yourself than what you
really are."

"Atheism: "The claim that life received from itself."

"But remember this: always, absolutely always, all the glory is the
Lord's and His alone, and anyone who takes any credit for anything, you
know, instantly, he is not what he pretends to be and is a false prophet."

"That light had to bear (bears all things) the darkness for us, but that
light did not ever become darkness."

"You must reach beyond the bible that tells you about Him, and into your
daily life to find Him in Person. He's there."

"What is wrong with Christendom? False understanding based on compromise."

"It is not in man to love his enemies. And if he tries, he is walking in
a lie and trying to raise himself up to the level of God."

"God has to be quiet now; we have our bible." Well, then, who is going
to speak?

The words “apostle” and “missionary” mean the same thing: “One who

Salvation from What?
Salvation is deliverance from danger or suffering.
Let's bring it up a notch in the Spirit: salvation is the deliverance
from self.
Self what? One is to exercise self control.
Self-will.
You are talking about salvation, aren't you?
Yes, but I asked you because there are many applications to. ’Self’. I
gave you one example, or sample. Even self-will can be a positive or

1Co 15:1(1-11) Now, I am making known to you, brethren, the good news
which
I
brought as glad tidings to you, which also you took to yourselves, in which
also you have taken a stand, through which you are being saved, in what word
For to
one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of
knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another
the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles;
to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers
kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these
worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as
he will.” (1Co 12:4-11)
It is all
in or all out,
You mean like, "all or nothing?" :-).
One is not to give even an appearance of evil. Words like that are considered
gutter language in America, and most places in the World and would not be
spoken in polite company for before women.
I don't speak like that in general out of consideration for my
neighbour, but you and my neighbour are not the highest authority and
the arbiter of my language in when or how I speak. Needless to say, the
sinner christian empire is not my Lord. I know your point, but what is
the point I have made? Yes, there was one! :-). Hello, I am here.

What could you imagine is the essential difference?

"When a son of God says, "Fuck," he doesn't say that in the Spirit the
same way as a carnal man says that in his carnality." Just like now. In
fact he doesn't do anything the same way as a carnal man.

1Co_15:47  The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the
Lord from heaven.

1Co 15:48  As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as
is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

1Co 15:49  And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also
bear the image of the heavenly.

Old Rosie wants a combo effect, and so does all of sinner christianity.

Anyway, "What could you imagine is the essential difference?" Here is
the answer: a higher righteous motive beyond man's moral understanding.

"But, but, I just can't seen it???" Even so!

Maybe there are things beyond what you see right now? Imagine that, and
I include myself! :-).

I wasn't completely joking when I said the Sargent Shultz, "I see
nothing." Everything has to be revealed to me in real time to be able to
be able walk with God; that is walking in the light.

The vicious and most cruel rumour of me and my own preeminence being of
paramount importance has been a terrible, terrible exaggeration and a
great miscarriage of the trooth! :-).

Be careful, you'll upset "nobody's perfect" Christendom. :-).
I already have when I remind them that Jesus said, Be ye perfect, and sin no
more.
No doubt. You'll be accused of the sinless perfection of personal
preeminence.
Even when I speak using only scripture as my response, I am accused. ;) As if
I wrote the Bible.
Sinner christians quote the bible like they have bible meaning locked
down and thrown away the key to any other understanding; no impediment
of their sin state whatsoever.

Your battles with Rosie may or may not be on that exact theme. :-).

Don't worry, the Holy Spirit's got your back...
I don’t worry, For all the promises of God which relates to that subject
have been addressed in scripture.
Well, if you know that to be truth, you don't need the scripture to tell
you that anymore.
I may need it for assurance, at times. Or to remind the enemies of God. Jesus
said to the evil one, ‘It is written’ more than once. Angels likewise
quote the words of God to the evil one.
Wouldn't you think the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is assurance
enough? What more would a man need?

"I find this in the Christianity religions: 'Nobody's perfect' they say,
and they use that as an excuse not to do what is perfect."
Typically because the are not thinking of the commandment to “Walk in the
Spirit”. As it is not taught very widely, nor do many understand what it
means. Especially when one is admonished to “pray in the spirit”.
-).
Are you sure you can "walk in the Spirit" without flicking through the
pages of your bible?
Positive.
Well then, why castigate me for not requiring a bible.

"Walking in the Spirit" is not walking with a theology, it is walking in
the Spirit of and with God.

the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of
miracles;
to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers
kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all
these
worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man
severally
as
he will.” (1Co 12:4-11)
The admonition to the ekklesia’s. To Desire and seek after these
things
above.
1Co 14:1(1-5) Be constantly pursuing this love, earnestly endeavoring to
acquire it. Moreover, be earnestly desiring the spiritual gifts, and do
this
in order that you might more efficiently impart to others the divine
revelations you have received. For the one who is uttering words in a
tongue
is not speaking to men but to God, for no one hears him so as to
understand
what he is saying. And he utters with his human spirit divine
revelations
not
explained. But he who imparts divine revelations to men is speaking with
the
result of upbuilding the Christian life, and exhortation, and
consolation.
The one who utters words in a tongue builds himself up in his Christian
life.
But he who imparts divine revelations to others builds up the local
assembly.
Now I desire that all of you be speaking in tongues, but I prefer that
you
impart divine revelations to others which you have received. Moreover,
greater is the one who imparts divine revelations to others than he who
speaks in tongues, with this exception that he interpret, in order that
the
local assembly might receive upbuilding.
After Paul departed from this ekklesia he proceeded on to Ephesus where
he
operated in Special/outstanding anointing and gifts of the Spirit. These
things are part of the Prophecy of Jesus regarding his believers will do
greater and mightier things by the Spirit of God when he was gone thus
confirming the words that the Apostles, or Missionaries sent by GoD to
preach, live and teach others around the world of the Message of the
Good
News of God and to differentiate it from all other gods and religions.
Yet
these same gifts and callings are for the local ekklesia unto the end of
this
age.
Those who deny these scriptures, deny the Word of God thus destroying or
attempting to destroy the blessings of God to all who are in need of all
these things.
And as Paul, an apostle of God who was not ashamed of the the Gospel of
God,
I too am not in the slightest. I am also in concord with many other
Believers
in the Full Gospel of Jesus The Messiah.
One cannot be a partial loser of there life, and partial believer. It is
all
in or all out,
You mean like, "all or nothing?" :-).
Here is the reason for my understanding on topics like this.

1Co 8:7-13

7 Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience
of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their
conscience being weak is defiled.

8 But meat commendeth us not to God: for neither, if we eat, are we the
better; neither, if we eat not, are we the worse.

9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a
stumblingblock to them that are weak.

10 For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's
temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat
those things which are offered to idols;

11 And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ
died?

12 But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience,
ye sin against Christ.

13 Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while
the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.

Because of this, I do not do a lot of things that I know are correct and
proper for me to do when I am around those who are easily offended. Like for
instance, even tho is is not improper to drink fermented grape juice/wine.
Many in America would consider it improper of someone to do, especially in a
public place, as when dining out, lest someone be all a twitter about it. And
I certainly would not be mentioning it in writing lest it inadvertently
offend. However, that said, I just don’t drink anything like that as a
personal choice as a believer, even though I am not in any ministry of the
Lord that requires one to Not drink. Or is it be given to drink. IDR. Some
might call it the doctrine or rather being safe than sorry. And yes, before I
committed myself to Jesus I did drink, and to excess, often.

I wasn't completely joking when I said the Sargent Shultz, "I see
nothing." Everything has to be revealed to me in real time to be able to
be able walk with God; that is walking in the light.
I took that thinking into consideration when I made the comment, just
didn’t want to make a big deal of it.
Post by In the Name of Jesus
The vicious and most cruel rumour of me and my own preeminence being of
paramount importance has been a terrible, terrible exaggeration and a
great miscarriage of the trooth! :-).
Really? ;) I seem to remember many times your rants and railings against me
who disagreed with you on many things, and pointed them out from scripture so
as to show it wasn’t a personal diatribe but of serious concern. Which
included all most virulent language you were prone to speaking at the time.
:) and I have enjoyed you toning it down a bit, yet you are apt to increase it if it is brought to your attention. As if to show others you will do as you wish
without consideration, since you consider it proper to do so.

Funny thing here, I was just thinking as I wrote this. The atheist will use
curses with God as being part of the curse as it to invoke a high authority
over their curse upon an object or another person. So as if to strengthen
what they say, and that concept also applies in reverse to the words that you
and others often speak with what is considered foul language. Which is also
what the word of God says we should not do.

Be careful, you'll upset "nobody's perfect" Christendom. :-).
I already have when I remind them that Jesus said, Be ye perfect, and sin no
more.
No doubt. You'll be accused of the sinless perfection of personal
preeminence.
Even when I speak using only scripture as my response, I am accused. ;) As
if I wrote the Bible .
Sinner christians quote the bible like they have bible meaning locked
down and thrown away the key to any other understanding; no impediment
of their sin state whatsoever.
Your battles with Rosie may or may not be on that exact theme. :-).
AI Rosie, does that as it posts scriptures that are not even partial to the
subject at hand, especially when they are used out of context in which they
were given. Using them just like some would do and quote, “and Judas went
and hung himself” followed by “go thou and do likewise”. It also pours
in an over abundance of isolated scripture as an Italian would do when
cooking up a large batch of spaghetti, when they pull out some of it and
throw in against a wall to see what sticks. There is a term for doing such
things but I don’t remember it at the moment.

In any event, that is over, as I have cut AI R off, as scripture calls for. I
allowed it way too long. And that fact was bought to my attention by the
atheists who doubly confirmed what the Lord was speaking to my heart for a
while. And I should have minded him and the scripture well before they
commented on what was going on. And that pained me to hear it from them as it
was not glorifying God to do such things in the open.

You can read all about it in scripture regarding contentious words in the
ekklesia.

Jesus said to the evil one, ‘It is written’ more than once. Angels likewise
quote the words of God to the evil one.
Wouldn't you think the indwelling of the Holy Spirit is assurance
enough? What more would a man need?
When the Heavenly Father wants to chasten his children, and they turn a deaf
ear, or just get too caught up in their affairs to pay proper attention, then
He will use other sources to redirect us to what is proper. It also, via
reading the scriptures, opens up our minds to seeing a different facet of the
diamond of truth that he wants to bring to our attention.
Plus, one very BIG THING, to me. Is just to go outside into the woods and
open up the Bible and read His word is just plain refreshing, as refreshing
as jumping into a tepid or cool pool on a hot day, as I immerse myself into
His words. There is just something special to me to do that, just set
everything aside, and enter in.

Because you preach it as a doctrine, which opposes what scripture says. That,
plus the mere fact that I want to know all I can about him and His ways, and
after many years of walking like this I know far better how little I know,
and my weaknesses are stronger than I knew, and so His ‘manual’ becomes
even more vital.
Post by In the Name of Jesus
"Walking in the Spirit" is not walking with a theology, it is walking in
the Spirit of and with God.
That is true. And your placing word of God, into the theology of man is
misplaced. That is something that Jesus brought forth when he began his
ministry of earth, before the Pharisees of his day. Yet the very religious
people are still doing what Jesus railed against.

This is the self-deceived, self-justifying liar who has neither the
truth nor the word of God in him (1 John 1:8-9). He claims he hasn't
sinned in over 37 years and that he doesn't even have a sin nature. Then
whenever he's caught sinning, he denies it was sin, and makes up special
new rules for himself about why it's sin if others do it but not
himself. You sickening, self-deceived, hypocrite, liar.

The words “apostle” and “missionary” mean the same thing: “One who
is sent.” The word apostle is from the Greek; and the word missionary is
from the Latin.
The term “sent one” refers broadly to anyone commissioned for a
task—such as Epaphroditus, who was sent to assist Paul (Philippians
2:25), or missionaries like Barnabas (Acts 13:2-3)—while the office of
apostle refers to those specifically chosen by Christ, such as the
Twelve (Luke 6:13) and Paul (Galatians 1:1), who were eyewitnesses of
the risen Lord and given foundational authority to establish the church
(Acts 1:21-22; 1 Corinthians 9:1; Ephesians 2:20).

Likewise, the term διάκονος refers broadly to anyone serving in various
roles—such as household servants (John 2:5, 9), government officials
(Romans 13:4), gospel ministers like Paul and Apollos (1 Corinthians
3:5), or those demonstrating humility in service (Matthew 20:26)—while
the office of deacon described in 1 Timothy 3 refers to a specific,
recognized church leadership role with qualifications and responsibilities.

Today's missionaries are not to be CONFUSED with the OFFICE of the
Apostles Jesus sent to found the church. This is true, whether the
malcontent is trying to rob apostolic authority or claim the confirming
signs and wonders that accompanied their proclamation of the gospel. See
15 evidences that these signs and wonders ended with the first
generation eye-witnesses sent by Christ (https://christrose.news/ceased).

The context of a given passage shows what kind of salvation it's talking
about. For example, Paul said he was confident that the Philippians'
prayers would result in his salvation (Philippians 1:19). This
expectation of PHYSICAL blessing is not to be CONFUSED with the idea
that Paul's SPIRITUAL salvation was decided by the Philippians prayer,
or that passages where salvation is promised through faith in Christ
mean we're also promised every MATERIAL BLESSING God made to Israel in
the Old Covenant. We look forward to "something better" (Hebrews 11:40).

The Old Covenant (Law) was made with Israel, not the church, and often
carried obedience requirements in order to receive the blessings
(Deuteronomy 28:1-2). We should not CONFUSE Old Covenant and New
Covenant promises. This is why Hebrews spends so much time showing the
superiority of the New Covenant over the Old (Hebrews 8:6). It says God
found fault with that covenant (Hebrews 8:7), and exhorts them to press
on to the maturity of the New Covenant (Hebrews 6:1).

One has to wonder if you've ever even read the book of Hebrews, as you
try to appropriate Old Covenant promises, and make people malcontent
with the better and more mature promises offered in the New Covenant, to
seek to go back to the Old Covenant. Are you planning to go to Israel
and claim your mountain, like Caleb? Of course not. Like Esau, you're
malcontented with the spiritual blessings, and are willing to trade it
for a bowl of red soup from the Old Covenant.

Correct.

• "shall he do" is in the future tense. The future tense necessitates
only that the action must take place in the future relative to when it
was prophesied. It in no way necessitates that the action must keep on
happening in perpetuity.

• "Greater works" in scope happened and "confirmed" the gospel on
Pentecost, when the Spirit-filled gospel proclamation resulted in mass
salvation, including 3,000 at one time. No one denies those greater
works happened, except Charistmatics, who refuse to believe this already
confirmed the gospel (Hebrews 2:3-4), so they seek personal
manifestations for themselves, so they can walk by sight rather than by
faith. Then they put trust in their own fake, carnal efforts to
reproduce the sign gifts.

• John expected people to believe and be saved on the basis of his
report about Jesus' works:

“Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which
are not written in this book; but these are written so that you may
believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing
you may have life in his name.” (John 20:30–31, ESV)

• The writer of Hebrews expected second generation Christians to believe
that the signs and wonders had already "confirmed" the gospel message
(Hebrews 2:3-4), on the basis of the eyewitness testimony of those who
saw and who's message was accompanied by signs and wonders. If these
sign gifts had been ongoing, the writer would have referred to their own
experience with the gifts as support for what he was saying, rather than
refer them to the events which had already "confirmed" the gospel.

1 John shows the real validation after the signs and wonders had already
"confirmed" the gospel, and it has nothing to do with signs and wonders.

For to
one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of
knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another
the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles;
to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers
kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these
worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as
he will.” (1Co 12:4-11)
Those are first generation Christians. You see nothing about signs and
wonders or miracles, or the gift of miraculous healing or tongues (in
the church era) after Galatians. Here are 15 Bible evidences these
ceased by the end of Paul's ministry: https://christrose.news/ceased.

The admonition to the ekklesia’s. To Desire and seek after these things
above.
idem. They sign gifts already confirmed the gospel as the
first-generation eyewitnesses performed them (Hebrews 2:3-4). That's why
the writer of Hebrews urges them to believe the signs and wonders that
already confirmed the gospel among the eyewitnesses of the first
generation, rather than appeal to them on the basis of their own
experience with signs and wonders.

I have yet to hear you proclaiming the gospel to anyone. I'm not saying
you haven't, but I have not seen it. You have the right passage for it
(1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Why aren't you proclaiming it regularly?

One cannot be a partial loser of there life, and partial believer. It is all
in or all out,
Whatever that means.

• The Hebrews started leaving the New Covenant for the Old Covenant, out
of immaturity, and a desire for the physical aspects of the Old
Covenant, which they could see and touch.

• To warn such people, the writer of Hebrews uses the example of Esau
who sold his birthright to the superior spiritual blessings, for the
sake of a physical bowl of red stew. The writer of the epistle exhorts
them not to be such a profane person. Esau was the loser, as is everyone
who goes seeking after the physical blessings of the Old Covenant, and
who seeks ongoing physical validation rather than believe the Bible when
it says the gospel was "confirmed" (aorist tense) by the first
generation of eyewitnesses (Hebrews 2:3-4).

• By the time John wrote his gospel, he expected people to believe in
Christ and the miracles He performed, on the basis of his written
testimony (John 20:30-31).

• By the time John wrote 1 John, there wasn't a single shred of a
mention about looking for any kind of signs or wonders to discern
whether someone is a child of God or of the devil.

So the loser is the person who is malcontented with the spiritual
blessings, and wants to walk by sight rather than faith, preferring the
physical benefits over the superior spiritual benefits of the New Covenant.

Where does the idea that "apostle" is an "office" come from?

In the Orthodox Church, while there is a link between the idea of a
"missionary" and an "apostle" (the Greek term for "missionary service"
is "apostoliki diakonia") the term "apostle" is reserved for those who
were not only sent on missionary service, but who succeeded in
planting a church where there was none before, and it is a designation
usually conferred on people after they have died and the results of
their work can be seen.

St Mary Magdale is called "Equal to the Apostles" because she was the
apostle to the apostles, who took the good news (gospel) of the
resurrection of Christ to the other apostles.

St Nina of Georgia is called "equal-to-the-apostles and enlightener of
Georgia" because as a result of her witness the Church was planted in
Georgia. She was taken there as a slave, so she wasn't "sent" by men,
but by the Holy Spirit. "Apostle" is not a man-made "office" but a
charismatic ministry given by the Holy Spirit and recognised, usually
posthumously, by the Church.

Where does the idea that "apostle" is an "office" come from?
“Let his days be few, And let another take his office.” (Psalm 109:8, NKJV)

Peter applied this to the need to find someone to fill the office of
Judas, as an apostle,

“In those days Peter stood up among the brothers (the company of persons
was in all about 120) and said, “Brothers, the Scripture had to be
fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke beforehand by the mouth of David
concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus. For he
was numbered among us and was allotted his share in this ministry.” (Now
this man acquired a field with the reward of his wickedness, and falling
headlong he burst open in the middle and all his bowels gushed out. And
it became known to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the field
was called in their own language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood.)
“For it is written in the Book of Psalms, “ ‘May his camp become
desolate, and let there be no one to dwell in it’; and “ ‘Let another
take his office.’” (Acts 1:15–20, ESV)

In Acts 1:15-26, Peter lays out specific qualifications for choosing a
replacement for Judas among the apostles. Here are the key
qualifications mentioned:

1. A Companion of Jesus Throughout His Ministry

Acts 1:21: “So one of the men who have accompanied us during all the
time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us...”

The candidate needed to have been with Jesus and the other disciples
throughout His earthly ministry, from the beginning to the end.

2. Present from the Baptism of John to the Ascension of Christ

Acts 1:22: “...beginning from the baptism of John until the day when he
was taken up from us...”

The person must have witnessed Jesus' public ministry from its inception
with John’s baptism and been present until His ascension.

3. A Witness to the Resurrection of Jesus

Acts 1:22: “...one of these men must become with us a witness to his
resurrection.”

The candidate had to be an eyewitness of the resurrected Christ,
attesting to the truth of His victory over death.

These qualifications emphasize that the office of an apostle was not
just a reference to general followers of Jesus but eyewitnesses to His
entire earthly ministry and His resurrection. The focus on these
requirements shows that the role of the apostles was tied to their
firsthand experience with Christ, making it a unique office that could
not be replicated beyond their generation.

It's just like diakonos. Anyone who does any service can be referred to
as a diakonos. But there's an office mentioned in 1 Timothy 3, which has
specific requirements. The person has to be tested and approved by the
congregation for those roles.

St Mary Magdale is called "Equal to the Apostles" because she was the

“As he said these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said
to him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts at which you
nursed!” But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God
and keep it!”” (Luke 11:27–28, ESV)

“Then his mother and his brothers came to him, but they could not reach
him because of the crowd. And he was told, “Your mother and your
brothers are standing outside, desiring to see you.” But he answered
them, “My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and
do it.”” (Luke 8:19–21, ESV)

I'm referring to teachings that come from the Bible. There's a
difference there, between someone who was just sent or who just who just
served, and the office of an apostle, overseer or deacon.

The apostles took on the role (office) of the CHief Priests of the Synhedrin

Back in 1979 I walked into the Jewish seminary at COlumbia and bought a JPS
bible. In the back it had a drawing of Jewish chief priests. The garb is
identical with Orthodox bishops today. In fact, the local newspapers in
Queens depict Buharin jewish chief priests in similar garb.

I believe this may be found also on wiki

THe only difference is the hat more resembles the COptic

SO the Bishop, Overseeer, eppiscopos, are the chief priests.
and the Elders, Presbyters, priests are the rabbis.

Growing up in a Jewish neighborhood led me to better appreciate my own faith.

Fundamentally, Orthodox disagree with west on original sin (Mary CHOSE to

Jesus was speaking to those who were dwelling in the faith of God to be like
children, not to the non-believer.

We are all born with a sin nature since the fall of Adam, and Jesus spoke to
that, and the Death that happened with the first Adam, and He being the
second Adam brought Life to those that believe in and on Him.

Because many teach that the days of the of the Apostles are over yet they
accept missionaries, the term. Not realizing that they are one and the same
and should be doing the same things.
It does not matter.

"Man is not the centre of being."

In the Name of Jesus
--
God is God in all His Being. All the glory is His, for He is all glory.

Jesus is the everlasting Father, Jesus is God, Jesus is the Lord. John
10:30  I and Father are one. If you can't see that the Lord Jesus is the
everlasting Father you are not born again and can't see the Kingdom of God.

Colossians 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were
YET sinners, Christ died for us.

Jeremiah 10:23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it
is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

"There is no revolving door of self-worship in a son of God's life!"

"God has to be quiet now; we have our bible." Well, then, who is going
to speak?

The words “apostle” and “missionary” mean the same thing: “One who
is sent.” The word apostle is from the Greek; and the word missionary is
from the Latin.
For to
one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of
knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another
the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles;
to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers
kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these
worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as
he will.” (1Co 12:4-11)
It is all
in or all out,
Now there's a good summary of the Orthodox Christian faith.

It was proclaimed on the Day of Pentecost in AD 33, and those who
responded to the Gospel on that day continued in four things:

1. The Apostles Teaching
2. The Apostles Fellowship
3. The Breaking of Bread
4. The Prayers.

And the Orthodox Church has continued in those four things from that
day to this.

Off the topic, in a sense. Could you answer a question for me?

What do you consider the Beginning of the Greek Orthodox Church?

The time of the RCC when the east Church was in leadership, being the first
popes and all or when the time of the splitting of the one into two separate
churches? Which I like to call the First Protestant Church for that is why
they split, after all. Which admittedly irks some of its followers who follow
the church instead of Jesus. IFYKWIM.

I am keeping this post to this NG.

That would depend on what you mean by "Greek Orthodox Church".

In the narrowest sense, referring to the Church in the present-day
country of Greece, it began in 1850, when it was recognised as an
autocephalous (independent) church by the Church of Constantinople.

But there were churches in many of the cities that are now in the
present-day country of Greece back in the 1st century AD -- we have
letters that St Paul wrote to them, eg 1 & 2 Corinthians, though those
cities were then part of the Roman Empire. And the current Bishop of
Corinth probably has a list of his predecessors going back to that
time.

Is there one root that all can claim to be a part of? You see, in discussing
in these NG’s over the years I see many claiming to be indecent, thus
separate from the others, and along with that comes contentiousness, similar
to the reformed churches. Perhaps the best way putting it is,.. The RCC seems
to want to recombine, or reconcile with the East Church or some brand of the
Orthodox Church. So who is the root that they seek to reconcile with?

Well then, how about the “Orthodox Church” That you speak of.
It is simply the Church, spoken of in the New Testament, the New
Testament Church.

It is sometimes given the epithet "Orthodox" to distingish it from
heterodox groups that have broken away from it. It is not a
denomination, it is predenominational.

The New Testament knows nothing of denominations, in the sense in
which many people use the word "church" today. There the world
"church" refers either to the local church -- the Church of Ephesus,
the Church of Sardis, the Church of Jerusalem, the Church of Antioch,
the Church of Rome etc.-- or to the universal church.

Some time around the period of the 8th-11th centuries the Church of
Rome began to see itself as somehow normative, and that it was not
enough for a church to be Catholic, it must be Roman as well, It said
that the Catholic Church was Roman, hence the "Roman Catholic Church".
The Churches of Constantinople, Alexandria, Antioch and Jerusalem
disagreed, and regarded the "Roman Catholic" teaching as heterodox,
and those who did not accept it as Orthodox.

In 1054 some legates of the Bishop of Rome visited Constantinople and
excommunicated the Bishop of Constantiople. They drew up a list of
beliefs and practices that were followed by the Church of Rome, but
not by the Church of constantinople and demanded that the Church of
Constantinople accept and follow them. Some items on the list were
relatively minor, but some were regarded by the Church of
Constantinople as deviations from the Apostles' Teaching, and
therefore unorthodox, and by excommunicating the Patriarch of
constantinople the legates of the Bishop of Rome had broken the
Apostles Fellowship.
